陈奕迅一连七场的《Third Encounter》演唱会于2003年2月16日在香港红磡体育馆开锣，顾名思义是在香港第三度举行演唱会。陈奕迅穿上一条黑色长褛，以一段意大利歌剧《Se Voul Ballare》作开场，之后才演绎自己的首本名曲。这次个唱的舞台设计成一个废墟。 　　2002年陈奕迅于乐坛上之成绩大家有目共睹，单是今年占据各大媒体流行榜的大热之作己数之不尽。陈奕迅对这次演唱会可谓一丝不苟，希望能予人耳目一新之感，还以《第三类接触》作主题，望能将另一个陈奕迅带给观众。 　　可能是情绪太High了，陈奕迅两次不顾危险攀跳距离舞台四呎的观众席，最后一次更绕场四分一圈与观众作近距离接触，结果被场馆单位要求写报告交待；这还不打紧，压轴演唱会超时了二十五分钟才结束，连累唱片公司赔偿十万元港币，幸好全场观众反应热烈，公司一点也不介意，大队人马在庆功宴完后继续到卡拉OK狂欢达旦。 　　据香港报纸报道，为了这次演唱会，陈奕迅使出浑身解数，最搞笑的是他还模仿谭咏麟和陈百强两位前辈的唱腔和说话的口吻，逗得观众捧腹大笑。 　　临近尾声时，陈奕迅更以描述父子情的《单车》一曲送给台下的父亲，还说希望他快点无事，关怀之情表露无遗。除了陈爸爸外，当晚也有不少圈中好友前来捧场，包括英皇老板杨受成夫妇、谢霆锋和母亲狄波拉，不过母子是分开而来、也分开坐。谢霆锋则在观众席坐了一会儿便上控制室与陈奕迅的女友徐濠萦一同欣赏。此外还有陈冠希、古天乐、吴君如等十多位歌手全都到场打气。
